Planting Cedrus or Picea trees too close to buildings.
While residents have the right to trim branches to allow more sunlight, I can’t help but feel sorry for these trees. They are magnificent evergreens, yet in urban areas, they are often pruned so aggressively that they become deformed—crippled versions of what they should be. This issue highlights the importance of proper tree selection and planting distances in city planning. Instead of planting large evergreens right next to facades, we should prioritize deciduous species that allow more light in winter. 🌿
